Via Dealz (“Via Dealz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a membership-based B2B wholesale marketplace operated by WorldWide Vendor LLC, a company registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Via Dealz connects registered business buyers across Egypt and the wider Middle East with wholesale inventory across apparel, footwear, toys, houseware, electronics, and general merchandise, fulfilled through our own warehouse operations.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through viadealz.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to buyers, prospective buyers, vendors, and visitors to the Site.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
2.1 Information you give us directly
- Account details: name, business name, phone number, email address, and password when you register as a buyer or vendor.
- Business verification details: commercial registration or tax information we may request to confirm you are a genuine business, in line with our buyer verification process.
- Order and billing details: shipping address, order history, and membership tier selection.
- Payment information: when you subscribe to a membership plan or make a purchase, payment is processed by a licensed, PCI-compliant Egyptian payment processor. Via Dealz does not store your full card number on our servers.
- Communications: messages you send to our support team, saved searches, and any information you provide in customer service interactions.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages, collected through standard web server logs and cookies.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you logged in, remember your cart and language preference (English/Arabic), and understand how the Site is used. See Section 6 below.
2.3 Information about vendors
Via Dealz operates a blind-vendor model: buyers purchase inventory through Via Dealz and never receive a selling vendor’s identity or contact details. Vendor account information, listing submissions, and payout details are collected and processed separately from buyer-facing data, and are used only to manage the vendor relationship, warehouse intake, and consignment payouts.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your buyer or vendor account;
- Process membership subscriptions, renewals, and free trials;
- Process and fulfil orders, including warehouse handling and delivery;
- Verify buyer eligibility and prevent fraud or abuse of the membership system;
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, membership status, and new inventory;
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
- Improve and secure the Site, including diagnosing technical issues;
- Comply with applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Membership and Billing
Via Dealz membership is billed on a recurring monthly basis through our subscription system. Where a free trial is offered, your payment method will not be charged until the trial period ends unless you cancel beforehand. You can view or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard, and billing history is retained for accounting and tax purposes as required by law.
5. How We Share Information
We share personal data only where necessary to operate the marketplace:
- Payment processors to complete membership billing and order payments;
- Delivery and logistics partners to fulfil and deliver your orders;
- Hosting and IT service providers who store and process Site data on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Professional advisors (e.g. accountants, auditors, legal counsel) where necessary for our business operations;
- Authorities where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.
We never share a buyer’s identity with a vendor, or a vendor’s identity with a buyer, as part of our blind-marketplace model.
6. Cookies
The Site uses cookies required for core functionality (login sessions, shopping cart, language selection) and, where applicable, analytics cookies to help us understand Site usage. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in or complete a purchase.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order and billing records are generally retained for the period required under UAE and Egyptian commercial record-keeping requirements.
8. Data Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and rate-limited login protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations;
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
These rights are consistent with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
10. International Data Transfers
Via Dealz is operated by a UAE-registered company serving buyers primarily in Egypt, and some of our service providers (including Site hosting) may process data outside your home country. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected consistently with this Policy.
11. Children’s Privacy
Via Dealz is a business-to-business platform intended for use by adults acting on behalf of a registered business. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18.
